Becht Engineering BT, Inc. (www.bechtengineering.com) was formed on January 1, 2007 in a reorganization of Becht Engineering Co., Inc. The reorganization separated Becht Engineering into two distinct business entities to better serve their separate business sectors and to facilitate our continued growth. Becht Engineering Co.’s primary focus continues to be serving the process and power sector and Becht Engineering BT focuses on servicing the building sector. Becht Engineering BT provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP&FP) engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, project management and construction management services that support the architectural and property management industries.
Sonomatic, Ltd. (www.vsonomatic.com) is a worldwide organization whose expertise in ultrasonic inspection design, development and application, dates back more than 25 years to its roots in the nuclear sector. Today, the company has widened its focus and provides proven yet pioneering services to customers in defense and power generation. However the largest client base is in the challenging oil and gas industry, both in the upstream and the downstream. Sonomatic was acquired by Dr. Becht and Commercial Worldwide in 2005 and is currently doing business in North America as Becht Sonomatic.
Helidex, LLC (www.helidex.com) also dba Helidex Offshore, specializes in the engineering, manufacturing and construction of aluminum helidecks for the offshore oil industry. Helidex also supplies and installs heliports for onshore applications such as rooftop and ground level heliports. Helidex was formerly a division of Becht Engineering Co.
